Micheal Kyle Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Hello Fellow Fishermen, Kristina and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the past 5 years. We bought an ailing fly shop and with the help and knowledge of many friends and family we turned the shop into what a fly shop is supposed to be, one that will help you live your dreams. It has been our dream to be out west where the ground touches the sky where the snow flies in July and where the water can be just as golden to a fly fisherman as the end zone is to an NFL player. I can remember the first time I went to Montana and fell in love with the water. We were at the Simmental Jr. Nationals in Bozeman. Everyone that was there had their golf clubs, but my dad and I had our rods. We fished one day and I told him then that I would live out here someday. I guess that dream is about ready to come true. Kristina and I have had many conversations about this and we have decided if we don’t take action now we might never do it. I’m sure you can read into this…yes we are moving, to the Bozeman, Montana area. You might be wondering what we will do with the shop. It is officially For Sale. We’re pushing forward, still ordering merchandise and still meeting our sales goals and will continue to do so as long as we own the shop. We are anticipating the shop might take a few days or months (or more) to sell. We will have normal business hours and sales up to that point. We will in no circumstance have a going out of business sale, as we have worked too hard to accomplish this dream to just throw it away in order to move onto our next adventure. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support. It has been great getting to know and build relationships with everyone. We all have some great stories that will live on, plus I am sure there are a few stories out there that will haunt me in Montana. Thank you for putting your fly fishing dreams with us and letting us help you live your dream no matter how big or small it was. Tight lines and again thank you, Michael & Kristina Kyle To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!

Greg Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I'm truly sorry to hear that Michael. You have been very kind to me and my family over the last few years. Hopefully I'll see you before you go. I'd like to keep in touch too. Montana will be awesome though. In a lot of ways I'd love to live there too. ozarkgunner Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Our loss will be their gain!! If your not dreaming and doing your not living!! Good luck Michael!!!!!!!!!!! "GO WEST YOUNG MAN" I will NEVER forget my years out in Co and WY. The sunsets and dry fly fishing are forever burned into my mind. I quit fly fishing in Missouri after I moved out there. It's kind of like eating chicken after you had steak every day. If my family, grad school, and my love of turkey hunting didn't drag me away, I think I would be buried beside a little 3 wt stream I use to fish. I will never forget my friend's fly box. He had two boxes. One had around 100 princes in it and the other was filled with p-tails. That's all we ever really needed................................................................. Good times.
