WOW! What can I say. We had a great turn out for our first clean-up. For all of you who couldn't make the event you missed out on a great time and some good food! We had 60+ people turn out for the event and got a LOT of trash and debris out of the stream. I am a little sore today and I'm sure some of you that made the event might be a little sore as well. We concentrated on a mile stretch between Spring street bridge and Wood street bridge. We ended up taking out 3 pick-up truck loads of trash and a lot of other debris. Lots of trees and limbs were removed also. We started at noon and went until 3:00. I was very proud of everyone who made the event such a success! Thanks to all that came out and to those who have supported us. Sorry, I'll try and upload pics later when I figure out why they aren't loading.

Ollie, FYI, the forum picture uploader function is not working although you can still post pictures by using a web picture hosting site and posting the url of the picture in the insert image feature.

There was a thread about it earlier in the week.

I was glad to see so many kids show up to help. The Neosho H.S. football team was there along with a bunch of kids ranging in age from 10 to 18. It was quite a workout, but I enjoyed it.

The whole thing came off without a hitch. Thanks Ollie, you did a great job.

Tremendous turnout and a great job of organizing. Gotta feel good.
