Quillback Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I was out fishing near Monte Ne, thunderstorm rolled in over the hill, lightning was striking close by, and it started to rain as hard as it can rain. I got back to the dock, got the boat out of the water and sat in my jeep for about 10 minutes waiting for the rain to slow down so I could put on the tiedowns. Must have had an inch of water in the boat. It's scary when the lightning is that close, when you see the flash and hear the CRACK at the same time, you know it's close. As I as zooming in to the dock, I passed several boats that were still fishing. Maybe fiberglass does not conduct electrcity.
