ozarkgunner Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 Where's my dummy hat. I didn't think about the water level dropping. For some reason I was thinking it would just drop instantly when they shut down the turbines. I've had the same experience as you with just about any tailwater I've fished. Dropping water makes for crappy fishing and rising is great for fishing.....most of the time. I broke my transducer again so I won't have the graph going until I buy a new one. I'll order one here shortly, but it won't be in by this weekend I do know that. The only time I get fish on the "fall" of the river is in Oct. The catfish seem to cluster then. Otherwise water needs to be running! Angler At Law
creek wader Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Next time you go below the dam. Check the level for that day, you can go back 60 days., and see what the generation was. Maybe we can figure out a pattern. Now if you want to see something funny, look at the Bagnell graph today. I would of been down there yesterday morn., from 9 a.m till noon. Now, I'm in St. Joe. It's going to be over 80 degrees today and they are running water hard. ... Timing is everything. lol .. wader wader

Surely someone else has been lately and can give us three a updated report. There are a lot of views... but very few reports................. Angler At Law
