Fishing Report And Pics 4/30-5/1

Fished from just above Holiday island to just below, looking for whites, crappie and walleyes. Threw white grubs, inline spinners, 1/16 jigs with minnows, and spooks for the Ks. Caught at least 50 fish, mostly small whites. Did catch one nice crappie, 3 2-3 pound whites, several keeper Ks ( one 4 pounder ), and one big walleye about 4 1/2 pounds. Fished shallow coves about two casts from the shore. Ignored the rain and had a great couple of days with a good friend.

Excellent post, thank you so much for the report of the mixed bag from the upperend. RPS is our man at HI, and it is always good to here from others up in that neck of the woods.
