Kicknbass Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Anyone been finding any mushrooms yet? I am going out in the morning to do a little pre hunt turkey scouting and morel hunting. It may be a little cool yet. " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 8, 2006 Root Admin Posted April 8, 2006 They are very spotty for us... at least for me. I'm in Branson.
Bill Butts Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I searched some of the area below McCord's Bend yesterday pm and didn't find one. The timing seemed good now that there's been rain and warm sunshine. Shouldn't it be good for a while now, as long as there are occasional showers? Kicknbass Posted April 9, 2006 Author Posted April 9, 2006 Well I didn't find any Morels today, but I did locate several actively gobbling birds. Now if I can keep these birds location pin pointed for the next 2 weeks I should have a good hunt. I didn't look very hard for morels, I got too interested in the birds. Leonard, where are you located? and what type spots have you found most productive? " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"

Members joefish Posted April 11, 2006 Members Posted April 11, 2006 I think if we would get a little rain they would start popping. Thats up north. Probing the depths, driving lunkers from their homes!
