Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 26, 2009 Root Admin Posted May 26, 2009 This is a great event!! For those who live in the Branson area or those who may be visiting::: Saturday, June 6 10 am to 2 pm is the event. Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery - the sink-hole pond to the east of the hatchery grounds. They've fixed the leak! Fishing for pan fish and catfish will be available for kids. Stations will be setup for kids and adults to tour and learn more about the outdoors and specifically fishing. We'll need adults to help kids catch fish! What could be more fun!! Reply to this thread if you can help and we'll put you down. Thanks!

Zack Hoyt Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Had a great time with Phil and Phillip(zonker). there were tons of kids and some super huge grins. Alot of them had not fished before, so this was a blast. They got their picture taken with the fish as well as learning about conservation at the stations. A few great sized bluegills and catfish were caught. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
