KCRIVERRAT Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Drove down to Neosho early Sunday morning. Met Buzz, Chief, and his son Dylan for a day of floating Indian Creek. I'm telling anyone on this forum... if you ever get a chance to spend a day on the water with these guys, take it. Don't miss out! They are great guys and I'm telling ya a lot of fun. There's some great scenery and fishing down there in extreme SW Missouri and they know all the spots. We didn't count numbers but I'm willing to guess at least 60 fish between us. Dylan was just spanking us! Chief will be posting his pics but I'll post the few I took too. Again, thanks guys and I'll see ya soon... KCRIVERRAT Chief with a Brownie; Dylan cleaned up at this hole... Buzz workin' it! Stopped at a beautiful long bluff for a shady break. Chief training Dylan to be the next Michael Phelps! Chief took some good fish pics... HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
ollie Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 My neighbor and I were on the Indian also on Sunday. We didn't do too bad either. Our biggest was only 14". Lot's of dinks and goggle-eye. We were way upstream. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Chief Grey Bear Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Glad you had a great time KCRR, I know we all did. I don't think we could have asked for a better day. Weather wise anyway. We didn't do to bad in the fish department either. I will get some pic's posted in another post. I am still having trouble posting. Hopefully I will get it figured out. Chief Grey Bear Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Taking a break and enjoying to cool air from the many dripping springs that are along this bluff. Here we have a nice largemouth reeled in by KC himself. KC and Dylan hook up for one of the many doubles of the day. Dylan and a nice brownie. One of his many of the day. I am not sure how well you can see it, but this is a crawdad Dylan found that had her newly hatched young still on her tail and still mostly transparent. I can't stress enough how much fun it was to spend the day with KC and show him some good old SW MO hospitality. fishinSWMO Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Love the crawdad! Looks like you guys had a great time, and the fish were biting good. Jeremy Dodson
Buzz Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Glad we finally got to fish together KC. I had a great time. You'll be back right? If any of you guys get a chance to spend a day on the water with KCRIVERRAT you should really jump at the chance. He's a great guy and a great fisherman. I am glad to be able to call him a fishing buddy and a friend. The fishing was great, as it always seems to be on this creek. This was just one of the many stretches of really good water to float on this creek and it proved itself once again. Thankfully, we didn't hear any banjo's playing. Just Kidding. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
Chief Grey Bear Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Boy, I don't have a clue about this picture posting. I finally get one to load and when I try to put it in the post, it disappeared. Sorry Buzz, I can't get that one of your big bass to attach. Funny how some will load and others won't and a they were all taken on the same camera, same day, same this, same that.
