Crappie Crankbait Bite Is On.

Wnet out Friday and trolled in the War Eagle/White river confluence area. Picked up 8 crappie along with a few whites and Spots. Caught several on a Rapala TD7 which I was using in hopes of picking up a walleye, but the crappie seemed to really like it. Also picked up a few on Bandit 300's. Fish seemed to be mostly spawned out females.

Could you elaborate on the water level and it's clarity?

I went up to Hickory Creek Marina a few weeks back and the color was "chocolate milk " and heading down towards Praire Creek.

Really bad that. Anyway, how's it look today??? Thx. Steady....

Water level is 7 feet above normal pool, clarity is good, I would say about 2 feet of viz. Definitely not chocolate anymore. Up by the dam it's real clear, 10 feet of viz.
