6-19-09 River And Fishing Report

last night after dark we launched at gracies take out hog heaven

i was fishing my new favorite black chug bug

hooked mr big on second cast

floated the rest of the way without any luck

got up first thing this morning and launched from the heaven headed to riverside

caught at least 15 on a pumpkin colored tube

most of these were small there was a couple good ones

i tried my chug bug but the wind was whipping and i think that might be why they didnt hit it

the river is awesome now

plenty of water almost completely cleared up

saturday should be a zoo

i have never counted but i would say

2000 boats go by on a busy saturday

is that crazy

any way float during the week and you wont have to deal with the idiot parade
