Fathers Day Fishing Report 6-21-09

happy belated fathers day to everyone

my father was my best friend and fishing partner he passed away five years ago on fathers day

i miss him dearly

we got out and fished during the day on a 6 mile float

i was throwing a wacky worm

let me tell you the wack is back

i caught a whole bunch even with people all over the place

sorry no pics to share

these fish will hit darn near anything you throw at them

the river is perfect now

get out and paddle

take your father fishing soon

I fished the Big on Sunday and didn't do well with numbers, but did manage a fat pig of 16" from behind a log! Only real fish of the day for me. Caught some goggle-eye as well, but hardly any smallies but that one. Water is perfect for fishing right now IMO.

Water levels look to be perfect. I have been working a on a few unique flies I am wanting to try on some smallie water. Plus the pontoon has been in the garage for a month and needs some water time.
