oneshot Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Some have talked about catching fewer Trout at Bennett Spring. Seems I have seen several Otters in the Park. Then this morning I was at the hole just below the Bridge on the river.Had a Muskrat come up by me.Then few minutes later seen something moving along the bank. It was 4 Otters, they all decided to set up and look me over from about 5 feet. One of those times you wish you had a Camera. Anyway how many think this is a problem in the area as far as fish numbers? oneshot
FishinCricket Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 There have always been otters there, but I think they keep track of how many their are.. At least I though they did... I'll jump in and say that there's a family of otters that live just upriver from NRO (the mudbank hole) and have been there for at least 10 years that I recall, and still there's a decent amount of fish right there.. I don't think they effect the river as much as they would a pond.. Just my crappie 2 cents... cricket.c21.com
