rangerman Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Go get 'em Stone, In all seriousness, I think was just at the right place, right time. A major weather front pushing through didn't hurt anything neither. There are definitely some big eyes in the vicinity of Tucke Hollow. How big was the one you took a picture of, it looks like a good one. I've started thinking about coming down there and fishing under lights. Never done it, kind of sounds like fun. Jason
stone9-7=2 Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 Jason, All I can tell you is that it was longer than 24" as the only thing I had to measure it with was the stick on length tape on the boat. You should try the lights,it's fun but like any kind of fishing sometimes you get skunked. I buy my lights at Bass pro. Starfire ll is what there called. You had some nice eyes. What was your biggest one??
rangerman Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Ranged from 5 to about 6 1/2. Good fish anywhere, felt lucky to have a couple of days like I did. Probably be a long time, before I can duplicate it again but who knows.
stone9-7=2 Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 Nothing new to report, seems like the last few times I've went to go something has came up.
Buckshotdad1960 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 If that’s the tip of the ice burg then I’m impressed! I knew you where out there. I only hoped that you would be closer. Bull darn shoals! That limits things but alright so you’re the guy that other men knell to and lay down their poles for and hope to kiss your ring as you walk by. I recognize you because I was that guy in Minnesota. The ability to produce quality fish in quantity is an earned gift. I can see you deserve my respect. It’s an honor to meet you but you live to far away to do me any good. Now if you knew places to repeat success like that on Table Rock then we could talk. You know I’m only looking for a few good fish to stock the pond and I’ve already found where I can get them. Even though their nothing like the ones you have there they are the start that I was looking for. I miss those days and nights, you still enjoy, when I was up in Minnesota. But I intend on seeing more of that in 3-5 years. The more crappie I put in the pond the faster it will happen. I live 20 minutes north of Branson so table Rock is not out of my reach but I want to fish crappie every evening in the summer. This 7 Acer pond will be my ticket. And with all that said my search goes on as I hang around the board a little while longer as I see if I can find your twin, only closer. Thanks for showing me the pic’s, you have no idea how good you just made my day! I'm happy! Tell a thousand funny jokes and no one remembers! Tell one bad one and no one forgets!
stone9-7=2 Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 Ha ha Thanks Buck but before you knell down & kiss the ring I don't have you must know there are a lot better Crappie fisermen on here than me. I/we don't catch fish like that all the time... We have good day's & bad day's. I was just lucky enough to be taught this type of fishing by one of the best fisherman I knew. He has moved on to the great pond in the sky now. His Grandson is one of the best Crappie guy's on Table Rock but he's not on here & won't tell much about it. Anyway glad your happy, sorry I can't help you with your quest. Don't fish the Rock anymore,to many crazy people in boats out there for my taste.
