Members goggleeyes
Went floating on the James today. What a day! Haven't been there for several years, it was better than I remembered! We caught quite a few smallies and some nice large mouth. You know the story the big one got away. I did lose a very nice small mouth, got to fight him for a little bit. All in all it was a great day. Can't wait to go back.

Members goggleeyes
Cox is a private put in I think. We used James River Outfitters at Galena.

Flysmallie
Kind of confusing but both spots are called the same. Cox is the access right at the old Y bridge. How were the folks at James River Outfitters. Haven't used them in awhile but they were always great people.
Fishhand
The superintendent of that development will kick you off the gravel bar if you try and camp around Cox Ford....he did it to us.

Sounds like a challenge. Seriously why do some people just have the need to be jerks. You were right, he was wrong. But you probably did the best thing by leaving.
