Trevor K Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 man, I wish I would've known about this last weekend when I was down there. Would've been pretty hard to pass up.
Members curtis bias Posted August 14, 2009 Members Posted August 14, 2009 If this is the same rod I am thinking about, they are very nice rods. Even better if you replace the reel seat with something that isn't graphite or plastic. I have two of them. If anyone wants to replace the reel seat, give me a shout. I can tell you exactly how to do it. The reel seat isn't put on the rod in a conventional way.

I see that Eagle Claw is putting them on the feather lights now. I've always had issues with the metal reel seat on mine coming loose. The plastic seats don't look as cool but IMO they are functional
RSBreth Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Wow that is great deal, good for a newbie as a first Taney Rod, too.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 My total of 11 are sold out. ALL GONE. How do we delete these threads when they are done ?
