Martin Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Martin and his partner came in 4th .... I guess not too bad for newbies at the walleye game.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 24, 2006 Root Admin Posted May 24, 2006 Martin - you shouldn't be so modest... tell us how you really feel! And what you caught. I think it's awesome!
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 I want to know if the better half had to carry him? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 24, 2006 Root Admin Posted May 24, 2006 Well... she may have to register and post to find that out!!
Martin Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Well, she didn't have to carry me, but she caught half of our two walleyes.... It turned out for the best I guess. Twin walleyes that weighed just shy of 4 pounds each. We were trolling big cranks over an isolated patch of deep tree's. We were fishing between point 16 and point 19. The top three places were taken (reportedly) fishing bottom bouncer / spinner / nightcrawlers. All in all, we had a great time and will probably enter the Stockton tournament June 3rd & 4th.
Hunter91 Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Martin, You give all of us walleye fisherman wannabees hope Congrats again!! H91
