Went down the river from BSSP to NRO. Action in the mouth of the spring was slow but got a few on dries. Some holes that looked good were dead, no hits. A few trout were lingering around here and there but the action was pretty slow. Lots of suckers in the river.

I lost count but probably hooked up about 20+ fish for the entire trip. Some of the holes seemed like they were going to be hot - fish every cast for 2 or 3 cast then dead. The trout had great healthy colors along with all the other fish in the river. Dry flies didn't do much and didn't hook any massive brown trout, I'm not sure where they are staying.

I should have looked at radar with the clouds started to grow, then the anvil to the north was expanding. Out of the water just in time at NRO although a little wet. White caps on the river and some solid rain coming down.

Don't tell me you've been nibling on the tails and throwing them back?

It was a good trip, I can verify...

Well they got that sickness in them that isn't suppose to hurt anything. But I've noticed all the ones in the river have it and I was just thinking it wouldn't make the best Mount with the Tails like they are.

Ofcourse if they are being turned back or put in the Fring Pan it don't matter.
