Leonard
here is a couple of questions.. 1st.. Any where on Taneycomo? (not just restricted to the trophy release) 2nd Any bait/fly/lures...... any rods... fly or spinning rod (this includes all power bait, worms, minnows, shads, rapalas... ect) 3rd.. Do they "HAVE" to hand the picture (s) to you.. Or can it be posted here on OAF or e-mailed to you with all information needed 4th.. Any body can tell someone how big a fish is.. does it have to be set close to a tape measure or ruler.... for a accurate measurement? 5th.. what if someone catches a big one while out with a guide.. 6th.. How many pictures should be taken of the fish? (measurement of lenght and girth.... plus any marks that might be on the fish... Like a poke from a heron or a gash from a boat or a messed up lip, or a dark spot from shocking) 7th.. what happens if the same fish is caught by a couple of different people? (would this be classified as a tie?) http://www.taneycomonights.com

timsfly
Michael I think that is a great idea, having a trout contest where it is catch and release and on the honor system, good luck. Should be some good pics, there are a lot of nice fish swimming around in taney right now, saw a lot of 4-6 pounders yesterday. I caught this one as well... That's Flysmallie in the background... He'll vouch for me... Great idea having a tournament like this.... I hope this will prove to a lot of folks that fishermen can work on the HONOR SYSTEM and not screw it up... Yep, I saw the whole thing. He was pulling line off that Zebco 33 like there was no tomorrow. Terry kept having to dunk the reel down in the water to cool it off. As usual Terry was right, big trout do like stinkbait. Terry may have never landed it if I hadn't shot it like 6 times with a 9mm. So do I get half of the prize?? He Beeson is that thing ready to come out of the smoker yet? I got a Turkey this morning that I want to throw in there.
