ozark trout fisher Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I was wondering if anyone here had fished the Beaver Creek that flows into Little Piney Creek. It looks like the lower end might be decent for sunnies or smaller bass, but I don't know. The MDC site has a conservation area towards the creeks upper end, and it says there is a population of sunfish up there. If anyone has fished, I'd appreciate if you could tell me whether its worth a try. You can PM if your not comfortable posting about such a small creek.
Members Troutdude Posted December 11, 2009 Members Posted December 11, 2009 I am also interested in this little creek. A friend is looking at a piece of creek front property and I would like to have some input. The only thing I can find is a mention in the Missouri Floaters Guide that Beaver Creek is a favorite amongst fly fishers. I would think that if this were so I would find some info on this site.

I think you're talking about different Beaver Creeks. The one mentioned in the Floaters Guide goes thru Bradleyville and drains into Bull Shoals. The one that Ozark Trout Fisher is talking about dumps into the Little Piney -- I can't imagine it even being floatable.

ColdWaterFshr, I am making reference to the one that flows through Bradleyville. Must have missed that on the first post.
