MaxDrown Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I was wondering if there are any tales, myths, etc. of the Eleven Point "Ghost Angler" out there. I was lucky enough to capture this phantom fisher on camera. See for your self below. We witnesses this spirit catching ghostly fish as well. His rod would bend, the fight was on, but never saw him release the fish. They were just ... gone. Spooky! -- Max Drown
FishinCricket Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Interesting.... Welcome to the forums! So did this "ghost angler" just dissappear, or what? cricket.c21.com
Al Agnew Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 There are lots of tales of ghosts in the Irish Wilderness along the Eleven Point. Stands to reason that at least one of those ghosts decided to take up flyfishing.

eric1978 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 It is a spooky image. Too bad it's not a ghost since they don't exist.

Wondered how many posts it would take before someone came along and pointed that out.. Spose your going to try and convince us that Santa, the Easter Bunny, Jesus and Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo aren't real either? Spoilsport... cricket.c21.com

Just can't seem to shake it. I do believe in Mr. Hanky, though. Everyone knows he's real. Hideeho!
