Members wiggle wart Posted September 26, 2009 Members Posted September 26, 2009 Never have hunted Stockton Lake area but I fish it a lot. I would like to give bow hunting a try there this year. Is there a lot of hunting pressure on the Corps of Engineers land? Any suggestions or comments?
denjac Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Not much pressure at all during bow season. Rifle season some areas get hammered others dont. They have trails cut that go around the whole lake and keep them brush hogged in the fall. Every area has parking areas or you can go in by boat which is my choice, hunt and fish. Good turkey population too. Some feral hogs. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo.
