Never have hunted Stockton Lake area but I fish it a lot. I would like to give bow hunting a try there this year. Is there a lot of hunting pressure on the Corps of Engineers land? Any suggestions or comments?

Not much pressure at all during bow season. Rifle season some areas get hammered others dont. They have trails cut that go around the whole lake and keep them brush hogged in the fall. Every area has parking areas or you can go in by boat which is my choice, hunt and fish. Good turkey population too. Some feral hogs.

Thanks for the info. I was planning on using my boat to access areas furthest from any roads or parking areas. Google Earth is a great tool for scoping out areas before you go scouting.
