Wow, seems like the Stren boys are catchin' em, to bad they only drew 102 boats. Is it economy or poor schedule planning, i.e. double booking? Either way numbers are down and hate to see that.

Here's some details. Looks like a variety of tactics.

Yeah, I fished in the college tournament on saturday. Lake was busy with the Big Bass thing going on as well. Was thinking if I found the shad I would find the fish. Not the case, shad have moved into the backs of coves but the bass are slow to follow. I'm sure in about a week things are going to be hot down there, have fun!

Phishful, were you able to put anything together in time for weigh-in?

Whenever I fish tourney's, I put something together in the last hour, and I fall short at weigh-in. But, then I'll fish a day after for the fun of it, and have a limit in the first hour I'm on the water! A dollar short, and a day late; that's how I end up. <_<

we had pretty much the same thing happen, couldn't find them in the backs of coves, found a few small one's on secondary points. hit the boat docks for a while but only picked up shorts. finally found a pattern with 30 minutes left. Lost a 3 boatside, then got a 1lb 14oz whopper with 5 minutes to go. That was the only fish we weighed. Found the last one's fishing laydowns with a jig.

Sorry for being late but now things are changin' I believe. Water temp has cooled quite a bit and those fish should be very shallow and able to catch. The laydowns for me are hit and miss and it seemed like if you a log holding fish it would hold a few. But I would be looking for big rocks, main lake for those gizzies!
