eric1978 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That looks like something you'd see on the middle Meramec, but I'm assuming it's not since you're so far from that river.
Buckshotdad1960 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Ok, I’ll call it falling rock cave! Pheeeew! I gotta lay down. Naming things is hard work. LOL You owe me one! Tell a thousand funny jokes and no one remembers! Tell one bad one and no one forgets!

Danoinark Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Looks like the lower Buffalo. Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
hank franklin Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I love this game. Don't recognize the spot though. it looks a little Meramec-esque but it's no place I've ever been. Is that a whale fin on the far middle right of the shot?
eric1978 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Is that a whale fin on the far middle right of the shot? Yes, that's an Ozark Humpback, latin name Humpus Ozarkus
Al Agnew Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Not the Meramec. Not the lower Buffalo. Might be on the Buffalo between Erbie and Pruitt below where the river comes out of the Bostons. I seem to remember stopping at a place like that on the upper Buffalo.
Wheatenheimer Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 Not the Meramec, not the Buffalo. That may be Humpus Ozarkus in the middle right, didn't notice till Hank pointed it out! Buckshot Dad, I don't know where falling rock cave is at. To narrow it down, it is in Missouri...........barely! Good fun! Kevin
Wheatenheimer Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 To put a date stamp on it, picture was taken yesterday afternoon. That was Saturday, October 3! Hope this helps! Kevin
