tippet7 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 watched it both way, could not see the big fish at all You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Members crawfly Posted October 13, 2009 Members Posted October 13, 2009 I can see it pretty well. Look at the white rock mid-screen. He actually fins upstream across the top pf it. He also appears to like the 8 ppm coming out of the hatchery! Nice fish & vid!
mhall02 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I kind of saw a big fin going over the white rock, but no clear view of anything.
ekl-stl Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 When was this recorded.. I assume this is at the bottom of the Hatchery ladder.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Yes.. thats the fish swimming above the white rock... right after I say.. " I wish I could see its mouth open" ... you can see the image come into view.. and the tail of the fish sliding thru the white of the rock. Viewing in Hi-Quality makes all the difference in the world. This fish is huge... maybe not the 30 inches I have stated before.. but the girth is just sickening.. I still say 26 inches or more. I'll go with 30 length.. 26 girth. This video was taken at chute 3 right below the ladder. If you open up my you tube channel.. I did a few more videos the same day. On the damage to the bridge.. and the fish... It was around 3:30pm Monday. thanks for checking out the video guys - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 14, 2009 Root Admin Posted October 14, 2009 Thought you told me 36 inches... I've been telling fish stories!! Oh well. Not the first time. It's a mammoth fish, do doubt. We get in trouble guessing size. It is in 6-7 feet of water.
