eric1978 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Nothing goes better with a Miller Lite than a nice fat smallmouth. Nice fish! One fish like that makes a trip.
Chief Grey Bear Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Really? You ever try one with some fried taters and pork-n-beans? Now that is some gooooooooooood eating! No Wisconsin yankee beer either. Got to be from St. Louie! Got to be from St. Louie! Oops. Yeah, I guess I should clarify...what I meant was, nothing goes better with a Miller Lite than a Bud Select instead and catching an nice fat smallie and letting him go. Smallmouth taste like sewage, spots are delicious. Hey, think I'll make that my personal statement.
Chief Grey Bear Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Oh man, you must be cleaning them wrong or something. I can't begin to tell you how many we ate this year floating. Boy there ain't nothing like taking the cast iron and frying up some fresh brownies right there on the river! Boy there ain't nothing like taking the cast iron and frying up some fresh brownies right there on the river! C'mon Chief, Don't get it started again. ... lol Wacky, I'm jealous. You've done several floats, lately. I haven't made it out for a month. .. The weather got crappy, then the rivers went out of their banks, and now my back is out. I'm just hoping my back gets better in time, to do some winter trout fishing. wader

Really, though, I do like the taste of bass. Prefer crappie. I sure like catching smallies more than eating them though.
