Don Allenbaugh Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Took these two pictures yesterday at Dry Run. In the single trout, check out the hitchhiker. Don A
Buckshotdad1960 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 That is a rare sight and a cool photo; if you can paint you should turn it into a painting. Thanks for sharing that, I’m sure a lot of people will get a kick out of that even if the little munchkins won’t come out of the back ground and say so. People here are pee shy! TroutRinger Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 What is that hanging on there. That looks like a parasite/snake thing my friend and I found on a bass at the Lake of the Ozarks two summers ago. I pulled in a nice 3-4 pound largemouth, and as I put my fingers in its mouth to get the hook this disgusting thing flopped out of its gills. It must of been 7-8 inches long. I dropped the bass on the dock, the thing fell off, and I stomped it and kicked in the water. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Danoinark Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 It's going to be a Lamprey eel. Lots of them in the Norfork and the entire White River system. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"

Are they in the Lake of the Ozarks? God I hope not considering the amount of time I have spent swimming there. Either way they are hideous creatures. I just googled them and the first image result was a picture of its mouth. Real pleasant looking fellow. "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy."
