ollie Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Thanks for the help Russ and for the kind words. Buzz and Chief made the paper with their ugly mugs! http://www.neoshodailynews.com/homepage I would like to thank everyone who was there and for their support. I would also like to thank my sponser this time around - Fausett Greenhouses. Gary over there supplied me with the money so we could have the chili. I would also like to thank others that have shown up in the past. Family Market, Wal-mart, Fausett Greenhouse, Laswell Auctions, the Daily News, KBTN, and of course the MDC. Thanks to all for your hardwork and support and look forward to putting on the next clean-up in the spring. Chief Grey Bear Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Like Russ said, the photo does not show all of the trash. But at that, what trash we did collect this time was nowhere near the amount we got from this stretch earlier this year. I hope that is a sign that those using the park are being more conscientious about their trash. It is really a beautiful park. Buzz Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 It was good meeting both Russ and Ken, glad you both made it. Great chili Ollie, what can we expect for Olliefest? I do feel like the team has made a big difference with the overall appearance of the creek. The amount of beer cans was down from the ealier cleanups, but the last bit of high water tuned up a few things. One was a baby moon hubcap that was half rusted away, but you could just make out the letters " OLD" It had to be off a 50's model I'm guessing. As Ollie said, Thanks to all who have helped this year. Hopefully you guys will come back next year too. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
fishinSWMO Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Good job guys. Sorry I couldn't make it. Jeremy Dodson
