Another proven point - Twitter'ing.. or Tweeting without thinking is dangerous.

Gay slurs about the coach.... what a dumb move on his part.

Like he wasnt going to find out ?? .. I mean really...

Jamaal Charles is only going to get better over the next couple of years.

Actually he was who I was thinking of when I posted Savage, duh, but I do agree he'll be a factor.

I'm just glad he's gone.

Now, if Pioli would just Tweet something stupid...

He'll end up just like a bunch of former Chiefs. A very good player on some other team. Don't get me wrong .... I'm glad to see him go. This revolving door of personnel is comical. PC

Cheers. PC

I'm disappointed that the primary focus this offseason was not o line. Most of the quaterbacks in this league with a few expections are equal. So why did we go out and spend a lot of money on a quaterback without a good strong line. Maybe I'm crazy but I would think the quaterback would more of a final piece to this geat big puzzle.

I agree redbird. The o-line is killing our offense. LJ will certainly have better success running behind Cincy's line, at least until he opens his mouth again...

I disagree, I think the question is why did we spend millins on a Qback that couldn't start in college. Even the guy he backed up isn't starting, does that make him a third string? It could be looked at that way. The Chiefs will NEVER buy a franchise Qback, so they best use one of the premium picks they get every year for losing and develop one.

I believe if Matt Cassel played behind the O-line Trent Green played behind, he'd be every bit as good. Matt Leinart went Hollywood right after he was drafted. Maybe his dedication to the game was derailed some. USC's second or possibly even third string QB's are better than most college starters. Heck, he was a third stringer behind Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart, then a second stringer behind Leinart.

Look, Trent went to Indiana. Not exactly a powerhouse, but he was drafted. Not sure which round but I know it wasn't the first or second. Vermiel loved him behind a great line at St. Louis... then the knee injury. Then the magical Kurt Warner season. Orlando Pace in his prime at LT protecting his backside.

Here in KC... he had the best O-line in football for three or four years. Once Willie Roaf retired unexpectedly, things went downhill from there... concussions to be exact.

Wayne and BRBF... in the end, and I know this is a contradictory statement, I like Cassel, but I don't like our new GM and head coach so far. Maybe Brody Croyle could've done just as good as Cassel since we're rebuilding, if he could've stayed healthy. Guy can't take a hit.

Money should have been spent on improving the O-line, not the QB position. O-line has been a revolving door, just like the WR's.

Cassel took the money, he I'm sure he knew was gonna take a beating.

Pioli and Haley have shown me nothing yet...

Not one Pioli interview here in KC since the season started!

Now... if we beat the defending Super Bowl champs this weekend, I might make a pair of season tickets appear out of my backside sunday!

I'm a typical Chiefs fan!

LJ has his diaper off now that he is with a contender. He will be happy for awhile as long as he is with a winner. However, he is 3rd string RB as of now, depending on Benson's hip. New atmosphere's tend to rejuvinate things for awhile. Cedric Benson is a prime example.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, The Chiefs do not have what it takes in an all around running back to be a contender themselves. I smell an aquisition coming up next year. Remember Priest Holmes was the backup RB from the Ravens?

I don't dislike Cassel, but I think its ridicules to pay him for a performance with a Super Bowl team part of a season. They paid him as if he were a seasoned performer, which he isn't. I suspect he has a good friend higher up.

Charles is a young back who played in one of the better conferences, I wouldn't count him out.

I go back a way with the Chiefs, like when they landed at downtown airport fresh from Dallas. I don't know if he was the only one, but the only one I remember doing an interview was Holub. :)
