Hunting Coe Land?

Ok I've asked on other Forums can't get an answer.How crowded is COE Land after Opening weekend of Firearms Season? Do most hit it hard on the weekends then thin out durring the week.

The reason I'm asking is I'm hunting here on my Farm this weekend then going up to our Cabin durring the week.I went there last week archery hunting didn't see anyone while out in the woods and enjoyed it very much.

My son and his buddies used to hunt an area that was a long way from any roads and they boated in. They never saw or even heard anyone.

Well I'm thinking most hit it hard on the weekends but not so Bad durring the week.I know MDC Land around here it is that way.I hunted Pomme durring Muzszleloader Season last year didn't see anyone until after dark and I was loading my Deer.

I suspect that if you're hunting above the lake with a road a mile or so away, then the worst that can happen is the road hunters will drive them to you.

Every hunter that walks five miles actually moves less than a mile normally. Most come out towns and have no concept of distance.
