TroutFearMe Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Well its been a long time since I have post here so I am back, back from wedding planning, back from wedding, back from honeymoon, and back to trout fishing in Mo. Is anyone heading down to Meramec for opening.
flyfishmaster Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I wish.... this is the first year in in 5 years that I have missed opening day C&R. I ususaly take my wife because this is the only day she will fish and I make her use a fly rod. I think it is a blast. But I'm sad that I'm missing it. Later, FFM Woo Hoo Fish On!!

Methods used? Hope all had great luck. And there are a few bites left for tomarrow. ohmz138 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Word of mouth is the water is high and cloudy, and moving fast. Visibility about a foot and getting flys down to the right spots is rough. Same report on quality of fish as this summer, small and low numbers. Hopefully it turns around.
Bman Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 report? anyone? Here's a report .My son Matt and I were at the park today. We saw two nice ones, Matt was able to bring this male to hand. Full fishing report to follow. The only good line is a tight line

Not bad, the other one we were gunning for was bigger. He decided to vanish into thin air though. darn.
