Well its been a long time since I have post here so I am back, back from wedding planning, back from wedding, back from honeymoon, and back to trout fishing in Mo. Is anyone heading down to Meramec for opening.

I wish.... this is the first year in in 5 years that I have missed opening day C&R. I ususaly take my wife because this is the only day she will fish and I make her use a fly rod. I think it is a blast. But I'm sad that I'm missing it.

Ya need a report. Water conditions? Methods used?

Hope all had great luck. And there are a few bites left for tomarrow. ;)

Word of mouth is the water is high and cloudy, and moving fast. Visibility about a foot and getting flys down to the right spots is rough. Same report on quality of fish as this summer, small and low numbers. Hopefully it turns around.

At times it was tough fishing with the cloudiness, but we still got inot em. The length x girth calculation of weight was 4.6 lbs. Not bad, the other one we were gunning for was bigger. He decided to vanish into thin air though. darn.
