aftersh0ck Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 i was looking at them years ago and heres what i found. depends what size and where your fishing, g3 compared to xpress. g3 has alot nicer interior, console, deck arrangement, storage options but the biggest model only holds a 135 or 150. xpress has a better shape that keeps you dry and holds alot bigger size motor, but the seats and console are cheap. i know the boats 19ft and bigger hold anywhere from 200-250 and im trying to remember where i saw a 300 on one. xpress is probally one of the fastest aluminum boats and be the better option of the 2 if you decided get a jet.
Members streamer Posted March 10, 2011 Members Posted March 10, 2011 Don't base your choice of boat on the trailer that they come with.. I'm a motorsports and auto dealer, and became a dealer for trailers when I decided to get a new boat. Markup was good enough that I've sold a few trailers to people that were looking for boat and pwc trailers. It's not my usual business, but why not.. Have a dealer look into a trailer price for you from a local trailer manufacturer. You might be able to get a trailer locally that is better than what the boat manufacturer is offering for less money.
