Members Adam B Posted December 5, 2009 Members Posted December 5, 2009 Hello Everyone. Does anybody live around here? I was looking for some closer places to fish from. I know quite a few already, does anyone fish the Natural Dam creek? I have been going there quite a bit lately. Thanks Oh and has no one been fishing the Beaver Tailwaters lately? I havent seen a report or seen anyone writing about fishing there.
Zack Hoyt Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Fished it a few times, just havent wrote a report.......whoops. No idea down your way, but there are some warm water places around Fayettenam. Also, the nice thing about Ark, if there is water in it a good portion of the year, there is sure fish in it. Members zthomas Posted December 9, 2009 Members Posted December 9, 2009 Hey Adam, I just moved to Fort Smith in July. Gradually learning some spots--Frog, Mulberry, Lee, etc. Drove down to the Ouachita R. a couple weeks ago. Been meaning to try that stream at Natural Dam, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Good to know there's other people on the forum in this area, though. Danimal is from Fort Smith too.
Members Adam B Posted December 9, 2009 Author Members Posted December 9, 2009 Well if you guys ever need a ride up to the tailwaters on a Sunday or something I will be glad to take you. Like a car pool or something? Maybe share a bottle of scotch haha. i am just 24 if that makes a difference.
Members Adam B Posted December 9, 2009 Author Members Posted December 9, 2009 Oh and Natural dam up there is really nice. Fishing has been a bit slow but if you have a kayak when the water is up you can go off the dam like we did haha or take it down to the big part of Lee creek, its the large stream under the old bridge on the way there.
