Forsyth Bait Shop

Is there still a bait and tackle shop across from the police station in Forsyth? If so what is the name and if you know it phone #? I'm interested in some stuff he used to carry.

At one time he had a sign up that he was closing, but I really haven't noticed. There's one to the west, between the stop light and the 4 way on the north side.

I'm pretty sure he closed. The new place, "The Tackle Box", I think is across the street from Conoco.

Yeah, I believe his wife got very ill.

The building is still there.

It is the 4th or 5th building on the left hand (Taneycomo) side right ? Before the blinking light ?

I miss that guy.... he was really neat.

The one across from the Sheriff's station is Tri-Lakes. I don't know if it's open. The Tackle Box went out of business in the last few months and the building has a real estate sign in front of it.

The Conoco Station sells lures and nightcrawlers, I believe. Can't think of anywhere else at the moment.

Tri-lakes Rod and Reel across from the court house is still there, he was open this afternoon. As stated the Tackle Shack that was across from Primetime went out of business acouple of months ago and the building still has the for sale sign up.

Country Mart has some tackle, bait, lures, etc. Not much, but maybe something needed. It's in the front window.
