Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 4, 2006 Root Admin Posted May 4, 2006 Q sent me this report so I'm passing it on. He and his dad fished Wednesday (yesterday) and did well- bring home 25 and leaving a bunch of short fish. Here's what he had to say - 1/16 oz. chartruese jig head with a smoke colored swimming minnow. Fish were scattered here and there. Honestly they were anywhere between two and 15 ft deep. I don't have a depth finder but that is my best guess. No structure, at least that I could see. We were working the jig painfully slow. Some were on the bank, and some were out deeper. They were not in any one certain pattern.
CMAC Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Hey Lilley, Is the young man on the right a conservation agent?
CMAC Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 That's what I thought. We went to college together. In fact a couple years ago on table rock, he politely came over to check our crappie. Good way to catch up with someone.......ha ha. We checked out!! LOL.
