Well i decided to brave the wind chill today. This was my first trip to hickory creek and it was very cold, didnt have any gloves but i just wanted to go fishing. I only could stand the wind chill for about an hour and caught 1 on my third cast on a black/yellow jig on a spinning reel. Here is the fish and it was released. Thanks goes out to Kyle AKA Buzz... for directions and info.

Glad you got out for a bit wounded... if you tried fishing up here today you'd have to change your name to "self-inflicted one". That dang Buzz is always giving away the places he was gonna take me! :donwan:... ;) it's not the Dakotas, but it's brutal here in KC.

Glad to help WoundedOne. At least you were able to get out today even if the wind was brutal. It will warm up eventually, I HOPE. Nice fish too.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
