Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 9, 2006 Root Admin Posted May 9, 2006 It should really be getting good over there on Beaver. If bass are doing well on Table Rock, stripers and hybrids should be on top on Beaver. Any word? Any rumors???
Guest flyfishBDS Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The word is patchy very patchy. Jaybird picked up some fish this morning on a zara spook. We ill have a serious crack at them on flyrods tomorrow am. so hopefully ill have some nice piccies if the weather is kind But its been so inconsistent. Last wednesday I slayed them, ent out that night and did nothing Tonight I called into a favorite corner to find bunches of the small bait they are taking but nothing eating them. weird year. Hopefully it will turn on tomorrow am Cheers steve
Guest flyfishBDS Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Jay and I hit it late after the storm, seemed like the striper action was earlier. Its been picky Jay picked up a pig of a smallie and another another bluegill on poppers. I got a couple of nice hybrids and some whites earlier off the shore Water temp is 67 marked lots of fgish deep. Warm day and thing might be really starting to fire. Cheers
