Jig Fishing Techniques

I fished Friday night around and above outlet 1 with a 1/8 ounce jig and caught 13, 10 on white and 3 on a black/purple egg sucking something pine squirrel I guess (looked like what Leonard had on the flyrod he showed me before I started). All came just letting the jig bounce and roll on the bottom with the current. The white jigs I did not paint the heads but I will take a small finger nail file and put a flat spot on the sides that really shine when light hits it just right. Friday night there was barely enough water to get a good bounce going sometimes it would just sit and I had to jig it a bit to get it going 704 not good, 705 and above better.
