Kicknbass Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 January Smallmouth..Wow..I had a rare occasion to get out on the river in January. The weather was unseasonably warm as was the fishing. I fished about 3 hours hooking 9 and landing 7 fish. All but 1 exceeded the 12" length limit w/ the largest fish exceeding 14". " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"

Members BobK Posted January 19, 2010 Members Posted January 19, 2010 Nice fish. What did you fish with? The water looks really blue! You ain't a live'n if your not a fish'n
patfish Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Nice KNB!!! I also like your use of bicep as a "rest" for the tail of the fish in self portrait. Looks good and doesn't torque the lip or jaw....
Kicknbass Posted January 20, 2010 Author Posted January 20, 2010 Where did you put in and fish? Ya gotta guess. You know locations are not discussed on the forum. " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"
Kicknbass Posted January 20, 2010 Author Posted January 20, 2010 Nice fish. What did you fish with? Soft Plastics. Deep and Slooow. All of the bites came from on the bottom at a current seam in rocks. The river was so clear that I could see the fish in 18' when I set the hook. Pretty Cool. It does make for a slimy arm at the end of the day.. " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"
