On The Fly 6 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 During Christmas break I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Wyoming and Montana and do a little fishing. We were lucky enough to catch the Browns during their spawning time and after following the advice from the local fly shop, we were rather productive on the second day out. Here are a few pictures of the fish I was able to get photos of (note: I was often by myself and didnt have any means of taking photos of all the fish I caught...not to mention it was really cold) All were caught on a yellow/red glowball pattern with a orange egg pattern sinker and a few split shots to get it to sink..they were hunkered down deep! fishgypsy Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Cool stuff, I love it out there. How'd the spawning browns taste? "I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people." - Jack Handy www.fishgypsy.wordpress.com
On The Fly 6 Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 Hope they tasted better than your gloves;>)! They tasted really good! No fishy taste at all! Caught 3 the first day and then caught my limit the second.
