ollie Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 For anyone who knows this man or has had the pleasure of meeting him I think you will be impressed by his ongoing efforts to keep a stretch of this creek clean for like 20 years now. He was just awarded a special plaque in honor of his efforts by the State of Missouri. Here is a link to the story in the Joplin Globe. Good read and a feel good story for all of us fighting the good fight for our streams. http://www.joplinglobe.com/weekend/local_story_022121224.html?keyword=topstory "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
