Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted February 1, 2010 Author Posted February 1, 2010 I plowed hartley boat ramp this afternoon. However there is ice in the cove, not to thick, but it is iced over. A little sun will fix that. I'm gonna try it in the morning and see if I can get through it ok, probably wait till about 10 or so. If anyone wants to know if you can use the ramp and get through the ice, follow me on twitter and I will post you an answer as soon as I get the boat on the lake. If it's hard to read and says "help, sos" then assume I am going down and if you get there soon enough, you can laugh at me as I go under. binman Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Well seems to me every thing was up to par on the boat since the fella gladly handed me 3900 cash but I guess every one is entitled to thier own opinion even if it is non sense.I am going to pick up a Ranger tomorrow. This Ranger is a 89 model dual console with a 175 mariner I am going to sell it for 4,200. Brandon Inman
Guest csfishinfool Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Well seems to me every thing was up to par on the boat since the fella gladly handed me 3900 cash but I guess every one is entitled to thier own opinion even if it is non sense. I guess if I sat at home drunk all day I could think of all kinds of good stories too but instead I am out on the water gotta love it. This Ranger is a 89 model dual console with a 175 mariner I am going to sell it for 4,200. That 89 Ranger with a 175 Mariner would be sweet boat for someone. My brother bought my dads old 88 374 w/ a mariner 175. The boat does around 65 mph gps. Plus it handels big water. We fished at Pickwick Lake three years ago and really put it to the test in 6 foot roller. They are not built anymore solid than those late eighties models. 88 was the first year that the whole boat was made from fiberglass! Plus we were rear ended twice in it and the transom was fine both times !!!
binman Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 It is definately a solid boat I went and checked it out last night it looked to be in pretty good shape. Brandon Inman
