Flyfishing Report

Met Vince above outlet #2 this evening about 7 pm and fished will dark. We drifted #18 gray, ginger and cream ostrich scuds under a float with a tiny split using 6x flor mostly and caught a ton of small rainbows. Vince said he had one rainbow about 17 inches before I got there but I didn't bring a rainbow in more than 12 inches. About 8 pm, tiny midges started coming off and the trout went nuts on the surface but it was too dark to change flies. I did try a soft hackle and crackleback with a couple of looks but the scuds did the best.

I heard yesterday (last night) that a local guy caught a 8maybe a 9lb bow out of chute 2 yesterday afternoon on a midge (size unknown)
