I usually have about 18" between my hook and sinker all throughout the year. - +1 - Be sure not to limit yourself to a traditional dropshot tactic. Use the dropshot setup, and fish it like a Carolina rig too. We've done well at The Rock with that setup too. - Just a little something different.
