Members Pflugradt Posted February 16, 2010 Members Posted February 16, 2010 Anyone been out and seen any early whites starting to run yet??? Wouldn't mind getting after a few if possible. Steve Check out my warm water flytying and flyfishing how to.
Dutch Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Isn't it a bit early for whites to be doing much migrating yet? I haven't even heard anything about Bull Shoals and it is usually the first to start.
Zack Hoyt Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Havent fished James much, but down in Beaver you are looking for water temps in the mid to high 50's before they start moving. With the shad kill being on and off below the dams, water would be a bit cold. I have heard reports of Walleye and Hybrids edging that way. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions

RSBreth Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Unless we get a serious warm rain and temps in the 70's for a week, you're looking at something that ain't happening for at least a month. It's coming, be patient.
