While the water was off for a few hours today, the midges came out to play! Not sure if I've ever seen this many hatch at one time. Mostly very small, light in color. Trout targeted them for a couple of hours and then left them alone. Most did not fly off the surface of the water.

K... posted the video before I could make sure you could see the bugs... can't or at least I can't. So here's some pics that do show how many there were.

It was like this bank to bank today above the Narrows all the way to the dam. Not as many below there and below Fall Creek but there were enough to draw the trout to the surface to eat them.
