Gary Lange Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 We have started a Chapter of the Missouri Smallmouth Alliance here in the Southwestern part of the state. We are looking for members that love to fish Smallmouths on area rivers and streams and would like to promote better Smallmouth Fishing through Conservation and stream improvements. If any of you are interested give me a heads up and we will see about getting you signed up. Send me an e-mail at glange@cebridge.net. Take a look at the MSA website and get an idea of what we are all about. http://www.missourismallmouthalliance.org/MSA/Welcome.html Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
KCRIVERRAT Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Gary... Crooked Creek? You know it's in Arkansas don't you? I'm sure you do, and if you can get some Arkie guys to buy into the Missouri SMA... you're the man. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
Gary Lange Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 I don't think there is an Arkansas Smallmouth Alliance so if some what to join with us and then get an Alliance started in Arkansas it would be a good thing. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 rat a lot of people down here slip over the border to fish in Arkansas. From the Buffalo to War Eagle, they aren't that far. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I realize there's plenty of Arkansas guys who come up here too... and some of them I'm sure would be interested in joining the MSA. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS

At the moment I have no need to go to MO to catch them. Crooked creek, Buffalo, spring river, southfork river all are loaded with them, as well as every large creek in the area. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 What happened to the King and War Eagle? I agree there is no need, but I know some guys from Arkansas who move freely across the border to sample new waters. I'm sure there are quite a few more that I'm not familiar with. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Completely understand gotmuddy. I do enjoy fishing your Arkansas waters down there as well as my Missouri waters. Missouri has plenty of beautiful scenery, but Arkansas scenerey kicks butt.
