Bman Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Would the same approach apply to a trailer that has sides that stick up out of the water. Would you place the side of the boat against the side board and then turn in to the trailer. That is how I pull a jet john up on a trailer in the current. First let the waves that you or others created settle, then come up slowly from down stream and hook the bow on the side board, crank the motor to turn the boat onto the trailer slowly. The only good line is a tight line
