straw hat Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I just came back from there. No ice, water temperature 43 and dingy from the rain. There were quite a few small crappie. The bite was very light however. Good luck.

straw hat Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Hey Saugeye, did you go to Greenfield Landing today? The wife and I spent about 6 hours there today and we only came up with two small crappie. There was a tough north wind all day. I hope you did better.
Members saugeye Posted March 1, 2010 Author Members Posted March 1, 2010 Yep made it out Saturday. Same luck for me only two small crappie. Everywhere I tried seemed like there were some small bas hangin out though thats a good sign. Did catch a couple of those in keeper size. No walleye though. NW wind was a bit cold. Water temp was 42 went up to 46 in mouth of Turnback. Next week looks better may have to try further up.
