Members LWW Posted May 18, 2006 Members Posted May 18, 2006 What's the bite been like this week? Are the waters warming up? Are the fish moving out to their post spawn haunts? Are we starting to find them on deeper main lake points. Any topwater action back? Gravel bite was good last weekend. Any advice on where to fish this weekend would be greatly appreciated. Good fishin to all! LWW
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 18, 2006 Root Admin Posted May 18, 2006 Talked to Tony Wededle today. He said they caught their first "night crawler" fish a couple days ago- 23-27 feet of water off points fishing the bottom. He had 5 keepers on a half day trip. So I'd say it's a good bet to try it.
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted May 20, 2006 Fishing Buddy Posted May 20, 2006 Yes, it is true, had my first dozen night crawler spots on Friday around the Islands in the Long Creek area using a drop shot rigs. The fish are on the deeper sides supended in the 25 - 30 feet range in the trees in 80 - 100 feet of water overall. . Use your graph to find the trees and the fish are there and bit really good..
