post-8756-12697340062239_thumb.jpgMy wife and I took our 2 boys from Good Samaritan Boys Ranch to taylor today for a couple of hours, the water was high w/ a decent current and very murky (could only see my lure about 6" down. My wife caught 1 male white decent sized (the one on top) and I caught a smaller white (the one on bottom) both males. I missed one good bite and one of the boys lost one. Not a bad day between rain showers. The consevation agent showed up and checked our permits and fish again today as well (she was very nice and answered a lot of questions for us). I have been checked twice in as many weeks, and according to her the whites were starting to move up the river until we got all of the rain (mostly males). we were using purple swmming minnows today and the agent said before the storm people were catching on small blue rattle traps.

Those weren't storm swimming minnows were they if so where did you get them. I used to catch all kinds of fish on them but they stopped selling them .

Started at Iron Bridge early this morning, then moved up to Taylor, then on to 215 bridge. I caught one small male at Taylor, other than that no luck. Using Rooster tails and swimming minnows.
